You will step back in time when you stay in The Archer Room
named for its history and antiques. J. (Joel) Archer, a
prominent figure in early Granbury, bought the house in 1918.
The Archer family was involved in education and business and
some of the members of the family were merchants on the Square.
They lived in the home until 1972.
This room features an
antique queen-sized wrought-iron bed with a pillow-top
mattress, 1500 count cotton linens, antique furnishings, a
flatscreen TV with DVD, free wifi, individual a/c control for your relaxing pleasure. The bathroom offers a wonderful
jetted tub/spa shower
combination, soft robes and Bath & Body personal products sure to result
in a delightful bath or shower.
Décor and amenities give this
room a particularly warm feeling.
Accolades & Affirmations
"The Innkeepers have impeccable taste in design
and hospitality. The inn is not a hodgepodge
of antiques, but a tasteful mix of fine
furnishings and charming touches. Coffee on
the front porch early morning and quiet late
evening conversation in the garden served as
a brief season of renewal before heading
back to the demands of our hectic schedules.
Breakfast was a delight - not your ordinary
fried eggs and ham. My favorite was a
delicious granola parfait. A close second
was 'eggs in a cloud.' We would love to stay
